About Broughton Community |Hub
Broughton Pavilion is the venue for the Community Hub, a social space where people can pop in and enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a well stocked self service refreshment station offering a variety of hot drinks, fruit juices and water with biscuits free of charge. We also offer breakfast and lunch time options as well as snacks and a seasonal “day of the week” for a winter warmer or summer cooler snack. Pop in for a takeaway or enjoy a chat with friends or just come along to make new friends. There is a small community lending library with lots of books to read. The Community Hub has a program that includes monthly talks, the offer of puzzles and board games, crafting sessions, IT help drop in sessions and special “coffee/tea and cake” combo’s to celebrate festivals or just as an excuse to eat cake!! It has an free internet café and its an ideal place to relax and unwind over a filter coffee or tea or a mug of hot chocolate after walking the dog – which are welcome as well as their owners and will definitely leave with a treat (or two). It’s a place to bring friends and make friends.
