Why join the scheme?
By joining the Chatty Café Scheme, your venue can host a Chatter & Natter table—a simple way to encourage conversation, bring people together and help tackle loneliness in your community.
Since 2017, the scheme has grown to over 850 venues across the UK. Many tables become regular weekly meet-ups, typically attracting around 8 regular attendees and increasing footfall and repeat visits.
The £60 annual fee
The Chatty Café Scheme is a non-profit organisation. The £60 annual fee helps cover the essential costs of running and sustaining the scheme, including:
-Marketing materials (table signs, posters, leaflets and window stickers)
-Our national volunteer training and ongoing support programme
-The infrastructure needed to support venues and volunteers
Many venues find the cost is quickly recouped through increased footfall and additional spend on drinks and food.

What we ask from venues
-A regular weekly time and space for the Chatter & Natter table

Why do I need to create a Chatty Café Scheme account?
Your email and password can be used to login to your venue page so you can edit the information any time you like.
Members of the public use the map function on our website to find their nearest Chatter & Natter table, so its important your venue information is kept up to date.
