About Bread of Life
Bread of Life is a community (not for profit) coffee shop and micro bakery. Our volunteers are available to chat during opening hours as well as during designated chatty table times. The coffee shop hosts various groups including a Medway Voluntary Action befriending group, a neuro cafe, a monthly fun quiz, a community litter pick, a running group. We run fun baking courses and operate a suspended scheme (by which generous customers pay it forward for those unable to afford a sandwich or a drink). All the delicious cakes and pastries are baked on the premises and we have choices for vegan, lactose free, low carbohydrate and non-gluten diets.
