About Bowlandbikes CIC
Recently we were visited by a gentleman who called in at our bike shop café. During conversation he explained it was the first time in almost a week that he had spoken to anyone. This got us thinking about what we could do to help, and how to reach others in the community who may be feeling isolated and would like somebody to talk to, and so we reached out to the Chatty Cafe Scheme – A fantastic initiative aimed at kickstarting conversations, getting people chatting and reducing loneliness.
We’re very happy to announce that our new Chatter & Natter table will be available between 11:00am – 3.00pm every Thursday & Friday. Anybody who would like to can come in and enjoy a friendly chat with us and others over a brew.
Everyone is welcome and we want to help as many people as possible so if you, or somebody you know, maybe a neighbour, a friend, or a family member who you think may like to join, please let them know there is a warm welcome waiting at Bowland Bikes .
There’s no need to book, simply come along and look out for the table with the yellow sign!
