About Anderton Boat Lift
Anderton Boat Lift is a free to visit historical site built in 1875 to transport boats 50 feet from the Trent & Mersey Canal to the Weaver Navigation, with landscaped grounds. We have a visitor centre with a coffee shop with a fabulous view of the lift, which is open 6 days a week to visitors 9:30-4:30 and closed on a Thursday. Come and visit!
