About AEL – Lunchbox Cafe Larne
LUNCHBOX is a 5 star rated, on-site café, located in the Larne Community Hub. We grow seasonal produce in our polytunnels and allotments enabling us to prepare and provide customers with fresh, delicious meals.
Inside, LUNCHBOX has a spacious seating area with large windows. It provides a relaxed setting for those sitting in to eat. For those on the go, there is an option for takeaway service.
Lunchbox Larne is part of Access Employment Ltd who are a social enterprise and provide people aged 16-60 who have additional needs, with training and employment opportunities to enhance their skills and lifestyle, allowing them to engage more effectively in the community.
Trainees on our various programmes play an important part in this busy work environment. It allows them to "try their hand" at the catering trade, gaining experience and qualifications as they go.
