  • A venue signs up to the Scheme and is sent a pack to get started, including; ‘Chatter & Natter’ table signs, posters, leafets and window stickers.

It is a very simple concept whereby the venue decides which table to designate as a ‘Chatter & Natter’ table and uses the ‘Chatter & Natter’ sign to identify this space.

We recruit Chatty Table Volunteers to help host ‘Chatter & Natter’ tables, the volunteer is supported by us, to promote the tables within their local community. Please indicate on the sign up page, whether or not you’d like a Table Volunteer.

  • The Chatty Cafe Scheme is a not-for-profit organisation. We ask for the annual subscription fee to help sustain the Scheme. We apply for funding and grants that allow us to grow and improve.

  • Although there are lots of Chatter & Natter tables, there are still parts of the UK with no venues involved. If you think a local venue might be interested then either pass the name and location of the venue to us via the contact page or please ask them to visit our website.

  • You will receive a very lovingly put together pack which contains 2 table talkers, 2 A4 posters, leaflets and door/window stickers.

You will also see your venue listed on our website and across our social media. Having your venue on our website means that more customers will find out about your Chatter & Natter table, which will hopefully lead to more participants sitting at the table.

If requested, we can support you in finding a Chatty Table Volunteer to help host your Chatter & Natter table.

You will also receive monthly updates and instantly become part of a national scheme to reduce loneliness and get people talking!
