About River Beal Cafe
The purpose of the café is to bring people together and provide a hub for the local community where people can build meaningful connections, share interests with one another, and help reduce social isolation.
We also hope the café will help break down stigma by providing a means to further enhance community value through positive contact with people with learning disabilities and mental health.
Work and volunteering opportunities for people to learn skills and develop confidence. We have a group of people living at River Beal who will be volunteering at the café.
We hope you find it a relaxing environment for people to come in, meet up with friends, enjoy a cake.
The River Beal Cafe is also part of the Safe Places Scheme- A Safe Place is somewhere people can go if they feel scared, are lost or need help when they are out and about. The staff are trained to support someone if they come in lost or need help.
If you would like to volunteer to help host a Chatter & Natter table at this venue, apply here.
