About Putty Cakes
Putty Cakes is a welcoming independent coffee shop on West Street in Dorking, set inside a beautiful Grade II listed building. With a bright conservatory, a cosy back room, and a tranquail courtyard garden, there are plenty of comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy good conversation.
We pride ourselves on creating a friendly and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home. Alongside great coffee, tea and homemade cakes, we offer a wide range of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options so that everyone can enjoy a treat.
Community is at the heart of what we do. We run a ‘help yourself’ shelf and a hanging coffee scheme, allowing customers to support others in the community. Our Chatty Café table is a natural extension of this, offering a friendly place for anyone who would enjoy a chat and a chance to connect with others.
