Established in 2006, Langworthy Cornerstone is a trusted local charity based in Salford, dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and families across the communities of Weaste and Seedley, Langworthy, Ordsall, Pendleton, Charlestown, and The Quays.
The Cornerstone Centre is a large purpose-built Community Anchor and Healthy Living Centre in the heart of Salford, operating as a vibrant community hub which hosts a wide range of services and activities, including a Job Café, Volunteering opportunities, Wellbeing Sessions and Fitness Classes, Seniors’ Groups and Men’s Health Program, Art Exhibitions, and Community Events.
Within the Centre are key partner organisations and services such as Salford Disability Forum, Salford d/Deaf Community, Living Well, Citizens Advice Salford, Can-Survive UK, Family Hub, a Children’s Day Nursery, and a busy GP practice.
The Centre provides flexible office rentals and is home to the well-loved Jigsaw Café, offering fresh meals, drinks, and a buffet service.
Our Team consists of a committed group of Staff, Trustees, Volunteers and Service Users who are passionate about making a positive difference in the community.
