About Cheerful Chai
Cheerful Chai is the community café within Angel Pavilion in Broomfield, Chelmsford, offering artisan coffee, homemade cakes and a warm, dog-friendly atmosphere. Born from community need, it serves walkers, hall users and locals alike. As part of Angel Pavilion — a renovated hub for wellbeing, creativity and community — it supports social connection, hosts collaborative events, and provides a welcoming “third space” for residents to meet, relax and engage.
