About The Eric Liddell Community Hub
Located on Holy Corner in Morningside, Edinburgh. The Eric Liddell Community Hub, a beautiful old church converted into a multi-purpose community space, is home to Cafe Connect. Cafe Connect is a charming, welcoming, and affordable Cafe that plays a vital role in the mission of The Eric Liddell community to bring people together in their local communities to enhance health and wellbeing and have a positive impact on their lives.
Café Connect offers a fresh alternative to high-street chains. Every weekday, our chef uses locally sourced ingredients to create delicious homemade soups, sandwich fillings, and baked goods.
We offer a wide range of coffee and teas and the icing on the delicious cakes is that every time you use our café, you are supporting your neighborhood’s local care charity.
Café Connect has been recognized for its commitment to ensuring that visitors have the option of eating healthily.
The Centre’s chef, Fiona Lemmon, and café volunteer, Lorraine McSheaffrey were presented with a Healthy Living Award Certificate by Scotland’s National Chef, Gary Maclean in 2018 and 2020.
“We will continue to provide the healthiest available food for our customers and service users and do encourage all to drop in to sample what is available.
