Horton Community Coffee Morning

Champney Hall, Horton, Slough SL3 9PA, UK

About Horton Community Coffee Morning

Champney Hall is the community building in Horton: a small semi rural village between Heathrow Airport and Windsor Castle. We started a community coffee morning for people suffering social isolation (we have no bus access to doctors or town hall etc, and only a few busses a day to local towns).

There is lots going on at the coffee morning: RBWM library services offer a full library service, we have representatives from the village church and the Parish council, and can provide IT tech support and jigsaw swap.  We have a knit and natter group and provide children’s crafts in the school holidays.  We have regular visits from the local police, community wardens, and other local organisations.  In the cold months we also operate as a Warm Space and can provide soup and a roll.

And there is always tea, coffee and biscuits available, and quite often cake too!!

If you would like to volunteer to help host a Chatter & Natter table at this venue, apply here.
