About Bold & Brave Cafe
Bold & Brave Café is situated within the Taunton library, providing a spacious, peaceful environment where visitors can enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat, and read a book. The café is dedicated to helping young people aged 14-25 transition into the workforce or return to education. It offers internship and work experience opportunities, where participants receive mentoring, job advice, and life skills training, along with hands-on experience in retail and hospitality. The café also serves as a space for young people to connect with community partners and access skill-building workshops.
