About Black Isle Cares Community Cafe
Black Isle Cares is a small community charity based in Fortrose on the Black Isle, north of Inverness. We provide services and activities to help address social isolation and loneliness in our local communities. One of our regular events is our community cafe, which goes “on the road” to different venues (such as church halls) every two months. This makes the cafe events more accessible to a wider number of people across our local area. The cafes are organised in collaboration with Fortrose Academy and Fortrose Library. Details of the date and venue for each event are promoted on the BIC website and social media accounts.
