About Amdani
Amdani is a community shop in North Cornelly, bringing together people from across the local area, reducing isolation and building “community”. The cafe area is inside the shop, and provides snacks, teas, coffees and soft drinks. In the winter time it is also a community warm space.
We provide far more than a cafe though, offering a food pantry, old fashioned sweet shop, community groups – crafts, sewing, wellbeing, gardening and many other activities. We also have a preloved “charity” shop where we sell good quality, nearly new items at low cost. We also have a multi bank – offering free personal and feminine hygiene items as well as free clothing and shoes to anyone who needs them.
The cafe is a part of a much bigger charitable effort that brings people together for friendship, chats and support.
